Planning your wedding is a very exciting time! But there will also be moments when you will feel overwhelmed and unsure if you’re making the right decisions.
This is not a full list of why you should hire a wedding planner, but it’s some of the major reasons you should. Keep in mind that a wedding planner should be a part of your wedding budget and you don’t have to have a huge budget to find one you can work with.

Because of their experience, planners know how much things will cost you. Don’t pay attention to those articles that give you the “average” cost of services or how much you should be spending for each service. Those are most definitely NOT accurate! Your planner will guide as to what is attainable within your budget and refer you service professionals that will be the best fit for you. In addition, because of the planner’s business relationships, she may be able to pass on professional discounts to you.

Your wedding planner will guide you every step of the way to ensure that your vision is coming together, your budget hasn’t derailed, review all contracts to make sure all is as it should be, and answer any questions you have (and you’ll have tons of them!). You will be faced with uncomfortable situations during the planning process. Your planner will be your advocate in the emotional chaos that can happen from an argument or family situation. On your wedding day, she’ll handle all the details so that you’re not answering a ton of questions instead of enjoying your special day with your loved ones. Some of those details include confirming all arrangements with your vendors, developing a detailed timeline, overseeing set-ups and breakdowns and managing the event flow from start to finish.
